How much will it cost?
The recommended Law Society charges for this work are:
Certifying documents/witnessing signatures - £10 per document
Swearing documents £5 and £2 for each additional exhibited document
How much are your fees for preparing an ID1 Form?
The cost of preparing an ID1 form is £50.
We will need to store your details on our files so that when the Land Registry contact us we can confirm your identity.
What do I need to bring?
- if we are certifying documents, please bring the original documents with you; we will provide you with copies of the certification document
- in all cases, some photographic ID
Please note that we do not and cannot provide legal advice on the documents which we are asked to witness or certify.
